Reserves policy

The expendable endowment fund is maintained to generate income for the direct charitable expenditure. A small reserve is maintained in unrestricted funds for contingencies.

As at 5 April 2025 reserves of £1,126,322 (2024: £1,192,416) were held. Of these £351,884 (2024: £385,314) were unrestricted and £774,438 (2024: £807,102) were expendable endowment. Investment policy

It remains the Trustee’s intention to retain the shareholding in Hiscox Plc, Polar Capital Financials, Polar Capital Global and Polar Capital Holdings funds for the time being. The Trustees do review their investment policy on a regular basis.
