Introductlon
Under the terms of a y￿11 proved in the High Courl of New Zealand. Dunedin Reglsty on the 27th May 1975 and
will proved in the High Court of New Zealand. Dunedin Registry on 4th June 1986 a Trust was formed. Thg inco

In order to regul8iise the p)srtkJn in ￿ United Kingdom a separate charity wa5 registered on 30th July 1998 (No,
10707731 in which the funds coming from the Trust in N8w Zoaland could be aC1￿Unted fty. Tha investments and
funds held on the TTust in New ZeaLand are not renected in these accounts.
Objactlves and adivitles
The principal objeclive ol the Trust is relief ol hunger among the children in the Mission ffield cA)nducted by St
Joseph's soC￿tY for tho Foraign m￿S1onS in India, China and other Asian Cwntries.
The Trustees have consuled the guidance made availatAe by the Charty Commission for England and Wal&s on
the Public Benofil requirement of th8 Charities AGt. The Trustees are confident that they have corn￿1ed with their
duly under the Charities Aci in thal they have had due regard to public benefrt gutdanc8 published by Iho
Commission.

Financial review
Total inwme for the year was £34.516 (2022.. £34.737). Total costs for Ihe yew wEre £48,38012022: £46.660I. AI
the y88r end the Trust had dosing resep4e8 of £46.714 (2022.. £60.578) all of which were cla88ed a8 unre3tri¢ted.
The Trustees con8Kler that the present level of funding remains adequate lo support the conkn'nuation of the tharitys
operations. The Trustees have the power to creato r960Nes to provKle income to fulfil the objects of the trust. The
surplus for the year provide furKls for fulure years.
Plans for future periods
The charity will continue to givo grants to deser¥ing ap￿leanI3.
