charlty during the year in relation to
th• objects ." Activities
Throughout the year under review the principal activities have been those
of the Church - the dedaration of the Christian gospel and the promotion
of Chrislian mission both nalionally and internationally.
The Bridge Church Horwich regularly opens its doors twice a week. on
Sundays for our 10.30am Worship Service and on Wednesday mornings
where we Tun our Community Cafe and also our Mums and Tols group.
The church also runs runs Lrfe groups every fortnight where we come
logether in a relaxed manner to have fellowship, build relationships and to
study God's Word. We also have regular Men's Nights and Women's
Night, usually arranging a meal or similar activity In a setting which allows
new members to get to know us in a very informal setling. There are also
regular teaching series, which are usually run in conjunction with Bridge
Church, Bolton, where we are able lo dig a little deeper Into scripture.
These courses can be aimed at new Christians or those starting to explore
thelr faith (such as Alpha) whereas others can be much more focussed on
ertain areas of the Bible, and which are aimed at those who wish tio
understand the Scriptures better.
The church also runs practical courses to help meet the needs of the
community. At present these focus on practlcal money management
through Christians Against Poverty (CAP) who partner with us when our
Communily Café is open and which is open lo the church and all member5
of the local communily.
The building is used by a local dance group (Bolton AIISlarz) on Monday
and Wednesday evenings. The group have participated in a number of
church events (Summer Fair, Messy Church, Carol Service elc).
The development of the outdoor space over the last 12 months has been
highly successful and is regularly used for social events {BBQ etc> as well
as the usual post Sunday service fellowship (weather permitting).
The property of Rock Street, Horwich. Bolton was last valued by Lamb and
Swift Commercial on 28 May 2010. The open markel value was estimated
