To advance the Islatnic faÉth in the Wandsworth area foi. the beT)efil ofihe public in particular through the holding of
prayer meetings, lecturES, the public celebration of religious festivals and the distribution of literature on the Eslainic
faith to elllighten others.
To advance the education of. and to provide facilities in the ititerests of soGial welfai'e for l¢isur¢-tim¢ occupation with
the objective of iinproving the conditions of life for all resideuts of Wand5WOrth and the n¢ighbourhood by the
provision, maintenance and management of a coinmunity centre.
Our objeetlyes
Our objectives are set to reflect our faith and community aims. Each year our trustee5 review our objecliv¢s and a¢tivili¢s to
eD8ure thcy continue to reflect our aims. In canying out this review the trustees have considered the Charity Commtssion'5
gcneral guidanoe on public benefit and in particulai. its supplementary public guidance on the advanteinent of relkgion for
thc public bcnefit.
Our dual aims rcmain to provide a facÉlity where Musliins Can worship and to provide a comll)unity facility for all the
inhabitants of W8ndsworth. Our long-teiTh ambition is to build the self-confidence of Wandsworth's MIEslims in their faith,
and through our ¢ommunity faciliti¢$ and activities help make our area a peaceful, vibrant and haiTronious community.
Strattgies
We w8nt to make our Mosquc an accessible and welcoming venue where all Muslims, or those who wish to know more
abtsut our faith, ¢8n gathcr togcth¢r to l¢ai'n about theu. religion and worship. We are also fortunate to have facilities for
wom¢n who wgnt to pray at th¢ Mosque. The Mosque is open for all five daily prayers, the Friday prayers being a focus of
our activities.
At our'know Islam b¢tter' events we share the t¢a¢hings of1s1a1￿ and th¢ nature of our faith with non-Musli2ns. In addition,
we invite congregations from all th¢ local faith groups and s¢hool$ to visit us and learn moit aboui151am.
An important part of our faith is charitable giving, according to one's wealth, in ae¢ordan¢¢ with 151am and we are pleased
to receive Zakat for the sole purpose of the relief of need and fjnancial hardship of Muslims who have insufficient money to
cover their basic needs for sl)elter, food, clothing, or who are destitute with no means of support.

The charity's trust¢¢s are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The Charity's truste¢s consider that an
audit is not required for this year under section 144(2) of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Act) and that an
independent examination is needed.
It is our responsibility to-
exomtn¢ the accounts under section 145 of the Charities Act 201 I
to follow the pr(tedures laid down tn the General Directions given by the Charity Commission under
sectioii 145(5)b of th¢ 2011 Act and

Basis of independent examiller's report
OtEr examination was eari'ied out in accordance with tlie General Directions given by the Charity Commission.
AEI examination includes a rev&ew of tlie accounting records kcpt by the charty and a comparison of the
accoiints preseiited with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the
accoiints and seekiiig explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do
not provide all the evidence that would be iEquired in all audit, and consequently no opinion is given as to

These accounts have been prepared on the historic cost basis in accordance with
Accounting and reporting by Charities - Statement of R¢comm¢nded Practice (SOR

on the going concern basis.
