Airedale Church Trust (Known as All Nations Church, Keighley)
Year Ended 5 April 2025- Trustees Report
The charity is established for the proclamation and furtherance of the Good News of Jesus Christ and for the purpose of helping humanity, in accordance with the 'Doctrinal basis of Belief' contained within its trust deed. The Trust is led by the church leadership team with the support and legal guidance of the Trustees. We aim to empower people to grow in their identity and skills and help bring community back to isolated neighbourhoods and people. We will also engage in humanitarian work locally, nationally and globally where we find key relationships.
Review of Progress and Achievements
The work of the Trust, especially through its executive arm, All Nations Church, has continued successfully throughout the year 2024/25. The conventional church activities of regular Sunday gatherings continue to be a success for our small but close church family.
The continued good work of “Hope Café” is a particular highlight of our ministry. It is open every thursday lunch time and offers food and drink on a “donate if you can basis” the café is run solely by volunteers. Through these gatherings people receive spiritual, emotional and social comfort.
We strongly support X:site Keighley which organises a number of events for both primary and secondary age children in the town holding a majority of events in our building. X:site is an outreach of All Nations church working in partnership with other local churches. For a majority of events X:site falls under the insurance and safeguarding policies of All Nations church. We also acts as a data controller and hold the finance for X:site in a ring fenced fund.
We continue to offer excellent Christian and life affirming teaching and training resources free of charge both online through our website and social media presence and teaching sessions during Services.
We continue to help those in need in our community with pastoral gifts and food hampers and other gifts where needed. It was our privilege to host many community events this year where we invite all the community in Keighley and beyond to join us for free food and drink, entertainment and more including this year a brilliant pantomime.
Financially the Church continues to be in a strong position having paid off all debts other than the mortgage and built up a strong reserve. The trustees have committed to using any finance in excess of this reserve to make capital repayments on the mortgage and provide assistance and blessings to the community.
As we move forward as a church community and charitable trust amongst our aims we will prioritise the following: We will continue to build the church community and to reach out to those in our community and beyond. We will continue to be help people practically and through the proclamation of the Message of Jesus Christ. We will continue to build strong relationships with other groups and ministries that we find a connection with and have a similar purpose We will continue to develop people in their faith and God-given talents wherever possible.
