, Chair's Report
2024 was a successful year for MG
Following successful bid applications, we received a total of £23,644 in
grants from Braintree District Council and Eastlight Community
Housing.
This meant that we were able to replace our old play equipment without
having to use much of our capital. This project was managed safely and
efficiently. The grass mats have greened up well so far and it is great to
see how much use the new playground is getting.
We held 4 meetings in 2024 and it was good to see new faces.
We hosted a well-attended beacon lighting for the 80 anniversary of VE
day and a less well attended village picnic
I would like to thank all those who continue to support us, not least Dean
for heading up maintenance of the green and Margaret who so effectively
manages our fmances.

MILLENIUM GREEN TRusr
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the Earts Colne Millenium
Green Trust (the Trust) forthe year ended 30 November 2024.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charity trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act')-
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section
145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the
applicable Directions given bythe Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the
Act.
Independent examiner's statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my
attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any
material respect:
1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section
130 of the Act; or
2. the accounts do not accord with those records.
I have no concems and have come across no other matters in connection with the
examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a
proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
