Achievements and Performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole.	Para 1.20	The Cylch continues to provide high quality, Welsh medium education provision for children from 2.5 years old. Parent/guardian satisfaction is high and many sessions during the week are operating at full capacity. The Cylch maintains an excellent relationship with the adjoining primary school and provides an excellent feeder system to its nursery class. Financial Review

Review of the charity’s financial position at the end of the period	Para 1.21	The Cylch has experienced higher expenditure costs during this financial year due to rising costs relating to staff wages, heating costs and increased inflation. Fundraising revenue remained low due to lasting impact of Covid-19 pandemic and a slow return to social activities. A new fundraising committee was appointed mid- way through the financial year, so we expect the fundraising revenue to increase again. The Cylch have taken action to increase the hourly childcare fee in order to offset rising costs.
