**Objects:** TO RELIEVE AND PREVENT SUFFERING CAUSED BY MENTAL OR PHYSICAL ILL-HEALTH OR BY SOCIAL OR ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES BY PROVIDING AND DEVELOPING A CONFIDENTIAL COUNSELLING SERVICE, EDUCATION, TRAINING AND SUPPORT FOR COUNSELLING AND TO DEVELOP COUNSELLING RESOURCES AND IN ANY CHARITABLE MANNER WHICH THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DETERMINE.

**Activities:** An affordable counselling service and mental health support for individuals in Newport and the surrounding areas of South Wales. Clients are encouraged to make a voluntary donation to help cover costs. Counsellors offer their services on a voluntary basis. The service also has an educational component, offering placements for trainee counsellors and those working towards accreditation hours.
