|2|The Group Trustee Board have reviewed the notes of the<br>previous AGM held on 11 July 2024.  The Chair put forward<br>these notes are taken as read and asked the Group Scout<br>Council to agree they’re a true record of that meeting.<br>In line with the recommendations from Scout Headquarters,<br>the Group Trustee Board proposed we adopt the model<br>constitution from Chapter 5 of POR (Policy, Organisation and<br>Rules).  A copy of this was available for review and inspection<br>prior to this meeting, and copies were also available at this<br>meeting.<br>The Chair asked Group Scout Council members to note our<br>charity’s financial year is 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026.<br>Following good practice recommendations from the Charity<br>Governance Code, POR states Trustee Boards should have a<br>minimum of five, and no more than twelve, Trustees in total.<br>This includes ex officio and co-opted Trustees.<br>The Group Scout Council must agree the number of people to<br>be appointed to the Trustee Board.  The outgoing Trustee<br>Board recommended that a maximum of fifteen people are<br>appointed. |4|The Group Trustee Board has approved the Statement of<br>Accounts, and received the report on the accounts from the<br>Scrutineer. The Treasurer explained the Statement of<br>Accounts.  No questions from the floor.||

|5|The Chair handed over Chairmanship of the meeting to the<br>Group Lead Volunteer.  The recommendation to the Group<br>Scout Council was that John Gwynn should be appointed as<br>Group Chair.
