The main activities of the PTFA are fundraising, in line with our objectives to fund activities and equipment for the benefit of students at George Tomlinson Primary School.

This year events included:

The trustees have had due regard to public benefit when exercising powers and duties. All activities had the sole purpose of raising funds that would benefit George Tomlinson Primary School.

We are extremely grateful for the contribution that volunteers make to achieve the Association’s objectives. Without this valuable contribution of time, energy and expertise we would not have been able to run various projects to enhance the education of pupils at George Tomlinson Primary School.

Section D Achievements and performance

In 24-25 we used funds generated in 23-24 to donate to school for the Summary of the main following activities: achievements of the charity during the year £300 per class to be used as a year group. Teachers chose how to spend this money, and it was used for: NURSERY – arts and crafts equipment RECEPTION – outdoor play equipment YEAR 1 – train to the seaside and outdoor play equipment YEAR 2 – Little Angel theatre trip YEAR 3 – Museum workshops and trip to the beach YEAR 4 – Walthamstow Wetlands workshop YEAR 5 – Horniman Museum workshop

The total to school was £23198 for the above activities and an additional £10258 which was promised in 23-24 and not yet paid.

Responsibilities and As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the basis of report accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”) . I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
