Trustees are appointed by the church membw& cu￿ent trustees serving in the financial
period reported on were: Mr. & Hawkin, (Chaim￿n), Mr K Fairnin8ton (Secretary), and Mr
A. Scott.
The governing documents of the thurth are The Staternerrt of Faith and The Constitution,
under the supreme authority of the Bible.
The church currently has two elders: Mr. A Fairnington. and Mr. M. Fulton. The Pastor, Mr.
M. Veitch. left Wooler Evangelical Church employment on 30th November. 2020.
Alms and Oblectlves
The church is committed to advancing the Good News of the Gospel, for the beneflt of
mankind in general: that is, that salvation is found through faith in the finished work of the
Lord Jesus Christ upon the Cross of Calvarr, throughout Northumberland and the Borders,
and further afield in the Unfted Kingdom and the world.
Artlvftles
There are a number of activities which reflect our commitment to these areas:
Worship on Sundays at 11am and 6pm to whith all a￿ welcome. Sunday sch¢x>l
and crèche facilFties are also available during the morning service.
o Weekly Bible study and prayer meetlng on Wednesday evenings (7.3opm)
Weekly meeting for ladies to share and encourage each other from the Blble
Occaslonal men's breakfasts and curry nights Nvith a Gospel message
o Four'special Bible Ministry Weekends, are held each year wth visiting speakers
The above meetings are publicised and are open to all.
Other activities include:
'Friday aub, for children 5-15 years old- Bible storiesi quizzes slnging and games
ots n Toys, is a well-attended, weekly mums and toddlers, group
Christlan literature is available to distribute locally* and further afield
The Trustees. and all those working with chlldren and vulnerable adults have been subjert to
DBS checks.
Covid 19
During the current year the building the building has been open as previously with various
restrictions in place as necessary. The Wednesday evening Bible study and prayer meeting
has continued on'zoom,. There have been no Sunday ￿h0o1 or crèche available.
The Trustees have complied with their duty in section 4 of the Charities Art (2011) to have
due regard to the guidance on public benefft publis1￿d by the Charity Cornmission.

Recelpts for the year totslled £49A74 (2020- £147,432 Induding legacies).
Payments for the year totalled £36447 (2020- £61,2611

Excess church funds are currentty held in a lfirgin Money Charity Deposit Account (£83,840).
Monies from the legaoes received were invested on 23 April, 2020 through Hubwise
Securities Ltd., in BMO MM Navigator Distribution Fund C Inc
The church has no wiitten reserves policy.

The charitys trLtstees are responsible forthe preparation of the accounts. The charity's
trustees considerthat an audlt is not required forthis year under section 1H of the Charities
Act 2011 (the Charities Act) and that an independent examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to:
exarnine the accounts under section 145 of the Charrties Act,
o to follow the procedures laid down in the general Direttions gtven by the Charity
Commission (under section 145(5Xb) of the Charities Art), and
o to state %vhether partlcular matter5 have come to my attentlon.
Basis of Indeputh examIne￿$ statey*rt
My examination was carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the
Charity Commission. An examination Includes a review of the accounting records kept by the
charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes
consideration of any unusual items or disdosures in the accounts, and seeking explanatlons
from the trustees regarding any such matters. The pnxedures undertaken do not provide all
the evldence that would be required in an audil and consequently no opinion Ss given as to
whether the accounts present'a true and fairf vlew and the report is limited to those
matters set out in the statement below.
