Activities

It gives bursaries to help poor children overseas to access local schools, and funds infrastructure improvements such as classrooms, furniture, toilets and computers. Priority is given to those schools and projects in which volunteers from Africa & Asia Venture have been placed. Some support is also given to deserving volunteers to these schools.

Objects: A) To Further The Education Of Overseas Students By The Provision First Of Bursaries Towards The Cost Of Fees And Maintenance For Full Time Tertiary Graduate And/or Post Graduate Level Courses In The United Kingdom Secondly By Grants To Overseas Students Towards Their Education At Schools Or Universities Overseas And Thirdly By Way Of General Educational Grants To Overseas Schools; Andb) For General Educational Purposes Overseas Including The Assistance Of Those Volunteers Sent Out From The United Kingdom To The Area Of Benefit By Africa & Asia Venture Limited ("The Volunteers")
