Trowbridge Islamic Trust Annual Report 

The Trust has undertaken several activities this year in compliance with its charter. The following activities were achieved as a result of hard work from the volunteers and trustees of the above Trust. 

- Conducting daily prayers. 

- Conducting weekly sermons which had more than 170 people attending. 

- Established a Sunday Islamic school for more than 80 children. 

- Accommodated visits from local primary schools where Islam was explained in more detail. 

- Opened up a youth club to kids aged 8 – 18 

- Organised a number of trips for the youth during the school holidays 

- Visited local primary schools and shared the Islam faith. 

- Fed an average of 30 people daily during the month of Ramadan. 

- Accommodated visits from different groups within the community for spiritual and 

- • other needs. 

- Established a good working relationship with other local charities and organisations including WIFF, the police and many other local businesses. 

- Completed stage four of the new building project. 

- Successfully organised charity events to help the local community. 

- We successfully raised £6050 towards the Morocco Earthquake  and sent a group a of volunteers to Morocco to help distribute with aid 

- Raised £1000 towards the Turkey/Syria Earthquake 

- Raised £600 towards the Libya flood appeal 

- Successfully organized social evenings for the community
