## **SOUTH TENERIFE CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP TRUST** 

## **ANNUAL REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES FOR THE YEAR ENDED 30th September 2023** 

The charity is established by a trust deed dated the 15th of December 1997 and became a registered charity on 31st of March 1998. 

The objects of the charity are to advance the Christian faith in the Canary Islands, the United Kingdom and other parts of Europe or the world. To relieve persons who are in conditions of need and to promote and fulfil such other charitable purposes as may benefit the community in the said locations and in other parts of the world. 

## **Review of the year’s activities** 

The trustees met on at least four occasions during the year. These meetings cover the AGM, church finances, annual reports, appointments and other matters which required the trustees approval. The church which is situated at the Apollo centre in Los Cristianos Tenerife is supported by its members, residents of the island, long stay visitors and holiday makers. 

The trustees and Church members have been encouraged by the appointment of Graham Forbes as full-time pastor of the church. The church is clearly benefitting from having a full time pastor and a supportive wife.  The church is also benefitting from an increase in different nationalities visiting the church since the covid virus.  Pastor Graham is aiming for greater outreach to local people and at the time of this report is investigating the possibility of having services translated into Spanish for the benefit of visiting locals.  The church is also looking at setting up Home Groups for the fellowship. 

In conclusion the Trustees thank God for the past year and look forward to the future journey of this valuable church in the heart of Los Cristianos.
