Supporting past and present members of the Association and their families. Supports other Regimental affiliated charities when required. Make grants to individuals and organisations as and where the requirement exists.

Objects: 1) To Promote The Efficiency Of The Army And In Particular The Royal Wessex Yeomanry (The Regiment) Bya) Maintaining Contact Betweenformer Members Of The Former The Dorset Yeomanry And Former And Serving Members Of "A" Squadron Of The Regiment, Fostering Mutual Friendship Between Them And Providing For Social Gatherings For Them;b) Fostering Esprit De Corps, Comradeship And The Welfare Of The Regiment And Preserving Its History And Traditions And Those Of The Former The Dorset Yeomanry2) To Relieve Either Generally Or Individually Members Of The Association And Former Members Of The Former The Dorset Yeomanry And Serving And Former Members Of "A" Squadron Of The Regiment And Their Dependants Who Are In Conditions Of Need, Hardship Or Distress (Beneficiaries).
