Objects: The objects of the charity are:
-
The advancement of the education of the pupils at Burford School by providing funds, items, services and facilities that is not the obligation of any statutory authority to provide;
-
The furtherance of such other general charitable purposes as the Trustees may from time to time decide, through the provision of grants.
Area of Benefit:
The area of benefit is determined as Burford School, Marlow Bottom
Report of the Trustees on the Activities of the Charity
The Trustees present the Independently Examined Income and Expenditure Account of the Charity in accordance with the adopted accounting policy, for the year ended 31* August 2025.
The majority of the income was received via funds raised by the school and Just Giving donations.
The closing balance of the fund is £109,118.52.
It is felt that the Burford School Fund has met the Public benefit need by operating within its objectives.
Trustees Responsibilities
The Trustees are required to prepare Financial Statements for each financial year which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the trust and of the surplus or deficit for that period. In preparing those Financial Statements, the Trustees are required to:

e Select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently.

e Make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent. e State whether applicable accounting standards have been followed, subject to any material departures disclosed and explained in the Financial Statements.

e Prepare the Financial Statements on the going basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the trust will continue.
The Trustees are responsible for:

e Keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the Trust.

e Safeguarding the Charity’s assets and hence taking reasonable steps for prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.
