l ￿pOrt lo the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity for the year ended 30
November 2023 which are sel out on pages 2 to 4.
Responsibllitias and basis of report
As the charily Ifuslees of the Trust. you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in
accordance with the requirements of the Charities A(:120111'the Act").
I report in respect of my 8xaminalion of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011
Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity
Commission under section 14515){b) of the Acl.

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my allention in
connection with the examination which gives me cause to believa that in, any material resp8cI."
1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the charity as required by section 130 of th8

2. the financial statements do not accord with those records., or
3. the financial slalements do not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form
and content of accounts set out in the Charities {Accounls and Reports) Regulations 2Q08
other than any requirement that the accounts give a 'lrue and fairf vi8w which is not a matter
considered as part of an independ8nt examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination lo which
attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.

Funds
A grant was recelved in the year from Lancashire Enviromental Fund of £7,500 which was
restricled for the use of the new roof work only, the costs in relation to this grant wer8 in the
previous y8ars accounts.

The charity provides regular social activities
for the elderly, with refreshments and
support. The centre opens up for community
event days lo provide Ihe elderly with a safe
environment from where they can take part
in these town events.
The ￿ntre also provides parties and events
during major holidays such as Christmas.
Using official charity food collections, the
centre also provides staples for those in
need.
