Achievements and performance
Impact On the Community
The charity organisation is still actively involved in enhancing the lives of youth and adults, both elderly and yowig,
during the year. and the core value of the gospel evangelism clwity is increasing. The Chariry engaged in the
community development programme and considered the diversity of its community in all aspects of its activities. Now
that the Charity bas been established and gained popularity within the community, its PriLnary goal of helping the
community has also been increased. However, in the upcorning year, the Cb2rity will endeavour to extend its scope to
enhance community life, relieNe poverty. and provide financial cmpowennent to the needs of the community.
Work In the Community
During the year. the church contknues to reach out to the needy. especially church members and the desti￿te within and
outsid¢ the community, by providing assistance to them at times of nee<L especially those who ar¢ the victims of
hunger, disease. pov¢ty, orphans by supplying them with forf shelter, medical al￿ and other fundamental needs.
Financial review
The trustees considered the Charitvs financial position adequate to the best of their knowledge. The principal funding
sources have been voluntary donatioDS and offerillgs from its m¢mbers. except for a one-off propety sale this year that
increased the total income above nornial from donations and olT¢rings. As Indic￿ed on page 5 of the fmancial
statements. income and expenditUTes in the year were better than l&st year.
Plans for future periods
The Charity has it in vi¢w of broadening its acbiev￿nellts dllring the following yearfs financial p¢riod through more
voluntary activities, including outrcacbes, organising more youth programmes. sponsoring members. especially the
youth, on courses that will enhance their knowledge of church growing and winning of souls to Christ. It wilj
endeavour to meet its primary objectiv&% of crcating and cultivating a bealthy chu￿ environment through love, unity,
and fellowship and equipping and edifying believets lor the work of the Lord by embracing the five-fold ministry:

set out on page 7.
Respective responsibilities of the Trnstees and Examiner
As the Charitys Trustees, yoll are responsible for the preparation of tbe accounts. and as you have CODsidered that
the accounts do not require an audit in accordance with Part 16 of the Compaoies Act 2006, my rolc is not that of
Auditor but an Independent Examiner. However, it is my responsibility to the stat¢. on the basis of procedur¢s and
guidance specified in The Comnussion's Directions and Guidancc given by th¢ Charity Commissioners of the Act,
whether particular matters have corne to my attention that were of concern to the Commission. the members, and
the public in general.
Basis of Opinion
I have completed my exan)ination in accordance with The Con]mission's Directions and Guidance gtven by the
Cbarity Commissioner. An examination iDcludes a review of the a￿OUnting records kept by the clwity alld a
compaTiSOn of th¢ accounts pre8¢nt¢d with those rewrds. It a]so involves r¢viewing the accounts, considering any
unusual items andl or disclosures provided in the accounts and seeking explanattons from you as Trustees

l Accounting policies
The principa] aw)unting policies are sumtnarised below. The acwunting p)licies have been applied
consistently througbout the year and the preceding year.
1.1. Basis of accounting
The fllianeial statements are prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the
Financial Reporting Stsndard for Smaller Entities (effective April 2008). the Statement of Rec4)mmended Practici
Accounting and Reporting by Charities, issued in March 2005 (SORP 2005) and the Companies Act 2006.
1.2. Incoming resources
All incoming resources are included in the statement of financial activities when the charity is entitled to the
income and the amount can be quantified with rv&sonable accuracy. The following specific policies are applied to
particular categories of income:
Voluntary income is received by way of grants donations and gits and is inch￿ed in full in the statement of
finoncial activities when receivable. Grants wh¢re entitlement is not conditional on the delivery of a specific
performance by the charity. are recognised when the charity becomes ullconditionally elliitled to the grant.
Donated servlces and facilities are included at the value to the ¢lwity where this can be quantifi￿. The value of
serviees provided by volunteers h&8 not been included.
Gifts donated for resal¢ are included &s incoming resou￿ within activitses for generating funds when they are
sold.
Income from investments is included in the year in which it is receivable.
1.3 Resources expended
Expenditure is recognised on an accnMI b&sis &8 a liability is incurred. Expenditure includes any VAT which
cannot be fully recovere￿ and is Teported as part of the expendtture to whi¢h tt relates.
Costs of generating funds comprise the costs associated with attracting voluntary income and the costs of trading
for fundraising purp)ses including the charity's shop.
Charitable exp¢nditure COTDprises those wsts inctsrred by the charity in the delivery of its activities and services
for its beneficiaries. It includes both costs that can be allocated directly to such activities and those costs of an
indire¢t nature ne¢￿ary to support them.
1.4 Tangible fixed assets and d¢preciation
Tangible fixed assets are stated at cost less accumulated depreciation. Depreciation is provided at rates calculafrd
to write off the cost less residual value of each asset over its expected use￿1 life. &$ follows:
