## **Objectives and Activities** 

The purpose of the charity is to raise funds to support its sole trustee The Lake District Calvert Trust (LDCT). The charity raises funds principally through charging a fee for being a member of FOCT, holding ticketed events and street collections, and receiving donations. 

Funds are transferred to LDCT on a regular basis as they accumulate in FOCT’s bank accounts. 

## **Achievements and Performance** 

During the financial year the charity has been able to transfer funds to LDCT where they are held as restricted funds. Use of these funds for specific purposes by LDCT needs approval by the committee of FOCT. 

## **Financial Review** 

During the financial year the charity’s income was £27,900.98 and total transfer of funds to LDCT during the year was £31,000.00. The balance from the previous year 2021/22 brought forward was £9,746.03, and £6,647.01 was carried forward into financial year 2022/23. 

## **Structure, Governance and Management** 

The charity is governed by its Constitution of November 1997. Lake District Calvert Trust is its sole trustee as appointed on 12th March 2011. Friends of Calvert Trust (Lake District) is managed by elected officials and committee members.
