**Objects:** IN THE COUNTY OF GLOUCESTERSHIRE TO PRESERVE, ENHANCE OR RE-CREATE FOR PUBLIC EDUCATION AND ENJOYMENT GARDEN LAND THAT EXISTS OR EXISTED IN THE PAST; TO STIMULATE INTEREST IN THE ARTS AND SKILLS OF GARDENING; TO CO-OPERATE WITH LOCAL AUTHORITIES IN MATTERS CONCERNING PLANNING, GARDEN CONSERVATION, AND EDUCATION; TO COMPILE A REGISTER OF IMPORTANT GARDENS AND SURVEY AND SECOND THEM.

**Activities:** The Trust aims to be a forum for public interest in all aspects of historic parks, gardens and landscapes within Gloucestershire. It seeks to promote awareness of their legacy through lectures, visits, workshops and seminars. It has links with local authorities to whom it provides advice, and with the relevant national bodies. It undertakes structured research on sites within the county.
