Ofsted. This is an enornious ￿hl¢vement for a small. independent school with an alternative approach to learning. We
e committed in the ￿ming year to cornpleting the documeniaiioD of our Clrriculum in order to ensure 8 quality
experietLCC for all our pupils in the ye￿$ ￿ come. aTrJ ￿ continue to build a sustainable, forward-looking learning

Trustees are recruited from pzrents and friends of Lancaster Independent School for Altern￿•¥£ Learning. Potential
irus¢e¢s are proposed to the AGM for membership of Council. Trustee5 can bE C<>dOPted betwcen AGNqs if oumbcrs on
Council fall below the required level bui must either stand down or 5thnd for eleclion at the next AGM. A third of
elected trustees are required to stsnd down by rotation at AGM.

The org8ni5ation consists of a 5cniorgovemance team made vp of the cOmp￿Y trusiees ond r¢pr¢s¢Mtstives of staff.
The trumees condud an ongoing r¢vi¢w of the major tasks in which the charity is involved and reviews the systems in
plaee to mitl8atc any risks involved. Intern￿ risks are minirnised by the implem¢ntaiion of proc¢dures for authorisalion
for all transaction$ and external risks by secure inveskncnt.
