The Holly Trust is committed to raising
awareness of the signs and symptoms
of bowel cancer in the West Midlands.
We are also committed to education of
staff as well as providing equipment for
our local hospitals to help treat people
suffering from this condition, which If
caught early can be cured. We have
been successful In increasing our
funding which is tsrgeted for the
purchase of a robotic table for treaknent
of bowel cancer in excess of £30,000 in
accountin

August 2024 we held 5 major fund
raising appeals which we used to
promote public awareness to bowel
ancer and to help build up our funds to
our target of over £30,000 for the
purchase of equipment for the treatment
of bowel cancer. Our tsrget for purchase
of equipment is for accounting period
202412025.

of creditors was £58,307. The charity
operates on minimal operating costs as
all the committee and helpers are
volunteers.

I report to the trustees on my examinab'on of the accounts of the above
charity (7he Tfusf) for the year ended 3110812024.
As the charivs trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
('the Acr).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trusys accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carying out my examination, I
ave followed all the applicable 01￿ctiOnS given by the Charity Commission
under section 145{5)(b) of the Act.

basis of report
Independent l am qualified to undertake the examination by being a qualrfied member of
examiner's ststement the ACCA.
I have completed my examination. I confimi that no material matters have
come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me
cause to believe that in, any material respect..
the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130
of the Charthes Act, or
the accounts did not accord wrth the accounting records; or
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements
conceming the fomi and content of accounts set out in the Charities
(Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement
that the accounts give a Irue and fairf view which ￿ not a matter
considered as part of an independent examination.

with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in
