II¥DEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT
TO THE GOVERNING BODY OF STOKE POGES SCHOOL, ROGERS LANE,
STOKE POGES, BUCKINGHAMSHIRE
Reg. Charity No.1066630
This report on the accounts of the Stoke Poges School Private Fund for the year ended 31, December 2024, is in
respect of an examination carried out in accordance with Section 145 of the Charities Act 2011.
Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner
As members of the School Governing Body (Trustees) you arc responsible for the preparation of the financial
statements, and you consider that the audit requirements of Section 144(1) of the Charities Act 2011 (the Act) do
not apply.
You have elected to prepare the accounts on the receipts and payments basis - Section 133 of the Act, and to
subject them to independent examination under Section 145 (1) of the Act rather than audit.
It is my responsibility to issue this report on those financial statements in accordance with the tenns of the
Regulations, and your stated election.
Basis of Independent Examiner's Report
My examination is carried out in accordance with general directions given by the Charity Commission and
Buckinghamshire County Council. That examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the
school for the Piivate Fund and a comparison of the accounts with those records. It also includes considering any
unusual items or disclosure5 in the financial statemcnts and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning
such matters, via the School Business Manager. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that
would be required in an audit, and conscqu¢ntly I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the
accounts.
Independent Examiner's Statement
In connection with my examination, no Tnatter has come to my attention:
(l) which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements
to keep accounting records in accordance with section 130 of the 2011 Act; and
to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with the
accounting requirements of section 133 of the 2011 Act.
(2) also, in connection with my examination, there is no matter to which, in my opinion, attention should be
drawn, in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
