2. Structure, Governance and Management
Governing Document.. Previous Governing Document dated 8th luly 1997. New Governance
document has been drawn up to ensure updated and in line with best practice- agreed by
current trustees 27th June 2025
Appointment of Trustees: Adil, Debbie and Rebecca will be stepping down as trustees.
Annick Smith and Barbara Arora to be appointed as new trustees
Organisational Structure: The trustees of the charity work closely with the school to identify
current needs and allocate ndIng appropriately.
Risk Management: Chair of Local Committee also sits as a trustee. however this is alongside
3 independent trustees. Other school representatives have stepped down as per best
practice.
3. Objectives and Activities
Charitable Objectives:
The Fund exists to support the pupils of Marjorie Mcclure School by providing resources,
experiences, and opportunities not otherwise available through statutory funding.
Main Activities Undertaken:
Fundraising events (e.g., school fairs, sponsored walks)
Purchase of specialist equipment
- Support for school trips and enrichment activities
Community engagement initiatives
4. Achievements and Performance
Summary of Key Achievements:
Raised £44.422 through grants and donations
Funded £8.000 towards a new minibus
£6536.20 funded for a new ability platform
£2450 funded for new display screens for classrooms
Impact on Beneficiaries:
The work of the charity has enabled students to gain improved access to the community.
With the new rules regarding ULEZ, a new minibus was desperately needed to replace an
old one which was not complianL The new ability platforni will enable students to learn to
drive electric wheelchairs safely.

Principal Funding Sources: Donations, grants
6. Plans for the Future
Planned funding to go towards shade for the playground and two courtyards. This will be a
substantial project. We will also be looking to fund sensory equipment across the school,
outdoor musical instruments and furniture for the FE enterprise.

Independent examlner's report to the trustees of the Marjorie Mcclure School Fund
I reportto the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the Marjorie Mcclure School Fund
for the year ended 31 August 2024.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charitytrust88s of the Fund you are responsibleforthe preparatlon of the accounts in
accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act,). I report in respect of my
examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in
carrying out my ex8mination I h8ve followed all the appllcable Directions glven bythe Ch8rity
Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention
In connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any materlal respect:
1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by sectlon 130 of the Act;
or
2. the accounts do not accord with those records.
I have no concerns and have come across no other m8tters in connection with the ex8mination
to which attention should be drawn in this reportto enable 8 proper understanding of the
accounts to be reached.
