Trustees are recruitpd based on the skills they have to offer the Charity. On agreeing to become trustees, the new
trustees are briefed by the existing trustees on the history of the CharÉty. the day-ttrday management, their
responsibilittes, the current obj'ectives and future plans. The trustees may attend any courses which they feel are
relevant to the development of their role, and are encouraged to keep upkndate on any thanges in legisLqtion that
may impad the Chartty.
None of the trustd has any beneficial interest in the Charity.
The trustees have qssessed the major risks to whith the chaiity is exposed, and are satisfied that systems are in

OBJECTIVES AND ICTIVITIES
The main obiectiveslof the chartty are as follows:
The advancement of the Jewish religion..
The advancement of education generalty..
The relief
the Jewish poor and aged generally. and
To provide or assist in the Provi￿on of a communal Gentre in the interests of soaal welfare, in order to
improve thq quality of lrfe of the residents of Netanya.
All as part oflhe work done by the Young Israel Congregation of North Netanya and Community Centre at 39 Shlomo
Hamelech Street, Netsnya, Israel Dhe Centre
The trustees have paid due regard to guidan￿ issu8d by the Charity Commlssion in deciding what arAivities the charity
should undertake.
ACHIEVEMENTS Ar4D PERFORMANCE
Although income has declined, the Trustees are pleased that in these challenging economic times they have
managed to help thelyoung Israel of North Netanya community. Israel, to thtive.
PUBLIC BENEFIT
The trustees have complied with their duty in section 17 of the Chartses Act 2011 to have due regard lo the gurdance
published by the Charity Commi&%ion.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
The Accounts for thelyear ended 31st March 2024 show a net outnow of funds of £1.225, after transfers of £27.847 to
the Young Israel of North Netsnya Community head of￿. Incoming resour(xs included a tax recovery of £2.249.
The net unr8slricted Lnds of the Charity were £4,448 as at 31st March 2024.
As a chaiity vthich relies simpty on voluntary donations from the general public. there is no operational need for income
from investments to meet the needs of a predicted annual budget. nor is there a required mlnimum income that has to
be adiieved.

The trustees are responsibte for preparing the Trustees. Report and the accounts in accordance with applicable

The law applicable

In preparing these a¢counts, the twstees are required to..
select suitable ￿(1)untIng policses and apply them consistently., observe the
methods and principles in Ihe Charities SORP., makejudgments and estimates
that are reasonable and prudent.,
state whether applicable accounting standards have been followed. subject to
any material departures disdosed and explained in the accounts., and
prepare the accounts on the going concem basis unless it is inappropriate to
presume tw the charity will rx)ntinue in operalion.

one time the financial position of the charity and to enable them to ensure that the accounts comply with the Charlties
Act 2011, the Chanl'es (Accounts and reports) Regulations 2008 and the provisions of the trusl deed. They are also

TO THE TRUSTEES
I report on the accounts of the Charity for the year ended 31 st March 2024, which are set out on pages 2 to 4.
Respective responsibilltles of trustees and exarnlner
The Charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. They consider that an audit Is not
required for this year under section 144(2) of the Charities Act 2011 (the 2011 Ad) and that an independent
examination is needed.
It is my responsibility to..
examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act;
- to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission under
section 145(5)(b) of the 2011 Act., and
- to state whether partrcular matters have come to my attention.
Basis of independent examIne￿8 report
My examination was carried out in accordance with the general D1￿ctionS given by the Charity Commission.
An examination indudes a review of the accounting ￿CordS kept by the charity and a comparison of the
accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures
in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The
procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and consequently
no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a Irue and fair view, and the report is limited to
those matters set out in the statement below.

BASIS OF ACCOUNTING
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention.
FUNDS STRUCTURE
Unrestricted funds comprise those funds which the directors are free to use for any purpose in
furtherance of the Gharitsble objects.
Restricted funds are subject to specific condib'ons by donors as to how they may be used.
INCOMING RESOURCES
All. incoming resources are recognised once the charity has entitlement to the resources, it is certain
that the resources be received and the monetary value of incoming resources can be measured
with SLrffirient reliability.
RESOURCES EXPENDED
Charitable costs comprises all expenditure directly relats'ng to the objectives of the Charity.
