Activities
With the players that we have we wer¢ able to play carols over the Chrigtmas period and
at a coupl¢ of cvents during the year.
The impact from the Covid pandemic has ¢ontinu¢d' with membership being a
challenge.
We have tried various recruiknent thiv¢s during the year. W¢ have agreed to support our
local community school by supptying brass instrunients so that the nML8iC teachers can
teach brass playing in the school. The overall aim being to encourage young people to
learn to play brass instriiments and h¢nc¢ to rebulld the Band.
Band Hall
Th¢ existing hall lease continues to be Tenewed atmually by Cornwall Coullcil. As
previously report¢d Cornwall Council has confmed that our plans will ren]ain valid as
long as we do not n￿teriallY amend the build design, since the compl¢t¢d infrastructure
was on our plans. Various communications via email occurred durAng the year confrming
that Cornwall Council will still honour th¢ £50.000 commitment to us towards building
our New Band Hall. Revised Heads of T¢rn]s of the contract are still in progress, which
as agreed pr¢Yiousty transfer th¢ freehold to the Band.

enditure
The Band has continued to limit th¢ir requests to essential expenditEfe in order to save
fimds for the new hall and recruiLm¢nt drives. We have had to Ca￿ out essential repairs
to the exASting hall fjat roof.
Committee
Sadty one of our triistees has been diagnosed with cancer so he has had to stop playing.
I would like to tak¢ this opportunity to thank the Convnittee for their Contributions and
commitment throughout the year and look forward to th¢ir help and input for the coming
year.
