CHAIRMAN’S REPORT FOR 2022
At the last AGM in April of 2022, I noted that we had entered 2022 in rude health thanks to all the measures we had put in place following the COVID pandemic. This has enabled us to have a very successful year with strong shop sales and increased donations to those we support. We have also made additional sales via E-Bay.
This good performance is not solely due to the measures we put in place but from the hard work and dedication of all our volunteers including our new volunteer, Sally.
Donations continue to flow in and the support from the community has been immense. We are seen as an important part of village life in Hassocks and the village in turn helps us.
I would like to thank all the volunteers for their commitment and hard work. I would also like to thank the members of the committee for everything they do to run the charity and make it the success it is. In particular I would like to thank Chris for her work as Secretary – not an easy task with the number of requests she has to deal with – and Mike for his work as treasurer and “maintenance manager”.
