**Objects:** TO PROTECT AND PRESERVE THE LIVES OF PERSONS WHO ARE MISSING OR ENDANGERED BY ACCIDENT OR NATURAL HAZARD BY CONDUCTING RESEARCH INTO ALL ASPECTS OF THE TECHNIQUES USED FOR SEARCHING FOR SUCH PERSONS AND TO DISSEMINATE THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH AND TO ASSIST THE VOLUNTARY AND STATUTORY EMERGENCY SERVICES IN CONNECTION WITH SUCH WORK

**Activities:** 1.  to preserve and protect the lives of persons who are missing or endangered by accident or natural hazard by conducting research into all aspects of the techniques used for searching for such persons2.  to disseminate the useful results of such research3.  to assist the voluntary and statutory emergency services in connection with such work by providing training and publishing materials
