AGM Treasurer’s Report
Tuesday 18[th] November 2025, 8pm Condicote Village Hall and Zoom
End of Year balances 31[st] August 2025 Current Account £61,389.95 Deposit Account £23,000.00
Our busy, wonderful, professional, outstanding playgroup made a huge profit of £21, 671.15 last year. We should be very proud. The government generosity helped hugely but the fact that the playgroup was full to the brim is purely down to the staff doing an excellent job. Hats off all round.
The hourly payment changes in government funding and extended accessibility lead to another large rise in the nursery education funding figure. The income from direct playgroup fees was dramatically reduced, explained for entirely by the government funding increase taking over that income stream.
The main cost changes from last year are the increasing cost of salaries and associated pension figure paired with HMRC commitments.
Thanks to everyone for using Easy Fundraising, we have raised £522.44 in the past year, a tiny smidge up on last year. This comes from online shopping and referrals from Blockley and Temple Guiting Schools. We raised £315 from the pub quiz and £500 from the Tesco grant. An increase in fundraising overall to a total of £1,367.44 for the year.
See attached pages for a further breakdown of the account balances, the P&L and Year-on-Year comparison of accounts.
Thank you for another wonderful year.
