Trustee selection methods

The Officers and Committee shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting and shall serve until the commencement of the next Annual General Meeting.

Any Officer, after two consecutive years’ service, shall resign and will be eligible for re-election.

The posts of Chair, Secretary and Treasurer shall be held by a parent for a maximum of three years.

The Committee shall have the power to co-opt a maximum of two members.

The Trustees confirm that they have referred to the guidance contained in the Charity Commission’s general guidance on public benefit when reviewing the Association’s aims and objectives and in planning future activities.

Friends of Ewell Grove is a group of parents and staff volunteers. This group raises money for the school by running a varied programme of events throughout the school year.

Friends of Ewell Grove holds committee meetings at least once each term in which staff, parents and others associated with the school are welcome to participate.

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year

Friends of Ewell Grove has had a busy and successful year, making a net income of £22,989 through events like the Christmas Fair, Parents' Panto, School Disco, Parents’ Quiz and Children’s Quiz.

The Association donated £24,734 to the school during the year including audiovisual and IT equipment such as HD cameras, microphones, Chromebooks and studio acoustic panels.
