STRUCTURE AND GOVERNANCE
SNIP International is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), not having a share capital, having its constitution and objectives set out in a document dated 18[th] May 2020; it having converted, from a company limited by guarantee and charity formed in 1996, on that date.
The Trustees are empowered to exercise all the powers of the CIO subject to its constitution and charity law.
During the year, there were six trustees (as above) and all offer themselves for reappointment.
RISK MANAGEMENT AND RESERVE POLICY
There is negligible risk in the operation of SNIP International.
It is the policy of SNIP International not to commit to grants / equipment donations or the major part of overheads unless funds are available. Some overheads recur annually (amounting to no more than several hundred pounds) and by prudent management of reserves are covered multiple times.
Our reserves policy also enables us to consider applications for grants and donations of equipment despite not having sufficient current income to support them.
OBJECTIVES AND PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES
SNIP International is a registered charity dedicated to the relief from suffering of stray and feral animals in communities outside the United Kingdom, particularly through the sterilisation of such animals. Our current focus is on stray and feral cats and dogs.
Prior to 2026 the principal activity had been to donate equipment designed for use in ‘Trap/catch, neuter and return’ procedures. During the year the Trustees agreed to transition to a grant giving organisation to overseas groups who share our approach to the treatment of stray and feral cats and dogs.
The Trustees confirm that the Charity Commission’s general guidance on public benefit has been considered in relation to the objectives of the Charity. The report sets out those objectives and describes how they have been met in the current year.

TRUSTEES' REPORT (Continued)
REVIEW OF ACTIVITIES IN THE YEAR 2025
2025 marked a significant milestone year for SNIP International. We began the year by donating equipment to support Trap-Neuter-Return initiatives for 19 overseas organisations, continuing the approach that has defined our work since inception. Since its launch, SNIP International has now provided equipment for Trap-Neuter-Return programmes in 96 countries worldwide, supporting 681 groups and distributing a total of 2,339 pieces of equipment.
During the year, we also introduced our first formal grant programme. This involved the design of comprehensive application forms alongside a robust due diligence and practical assessment process for each submission. We received a strong number of high-quality applications, from which 11 overseas organisations were selected to receive grants of £2,000 each.
In October, three of our Trustees attended Project Romania at the Bucharest Animal Welfare Conference, where they distributed equipment to local animal welfare organisations. This equipment was donated in partnership with Cats Protection and MDC Exports. Following the conference, our Trustees travelled on to Save the Dogs in Cernavoda to support their four-day cat ‘spayathon’.
I would like to extend my sincere thanks to my fellow Trustees and our volunteers for their commitment, hard work, and the strong sense of teamwork they bring to SNIP International. Through our collective efforts, tens of thousands of cats and dogs have been given the opportunity for a better life, made possible by the donation of essential equipment to dedicated individuals running TNR and CNR programmes in communities around the world.
As I conclude my 2025 report, I would also like to acknowledge and thank those who continue to support our work through regular financial contributions. Your ongoing generosity is vital to our mission and deeply appreciated.
