On average we had about 20 trial readers per
issue for our magazine.

successful conference in 2022 at High Leigh
Conference centre.

Review of the charity’s
financial position at the end
of the period
Para 1.21 There is a cash outflow of about £10,000 on the
core activity on the magazine in 2022. This was
expected. There is still £71,623 on the Balance
Sheet in our bank accounts.
Our affiliate Bible Students Fellowship had a
large donation of £33,286 from the closure of the
Warrington Bible Students account to increase
their bank balance to £35,161 at the year end.

policy for holding reserves
stating why they are held
Para 1.22 No reserves policy. There is a working, non-
official policy to have reserves for BFU for £8,000
to £10,000 for expected cash flow issues
between expected donations and running
expenses.
Additionally there is a similar policy for our
affiliate Bible Students Fellowship in case they
have a need to pay for the accommodation at the
annual in-person conference. That is estimated
to be up to £8,000 annually.
There is a plan for formalise this policy.
