**Objects:** THE RELIEF OF SICKNESS OF PERSONS WITH IDIOPATHIC THROMBOCYTOPENIC PURPURA AND IN PARTICULAR TO PROMOTE, IMPROVE DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN THE GENERAL WELFARE OF ITP PATIENTS AND THE FAMILIES OF CHILDREN WITH ITP

**Activities:** The ITP Support Association provides information and support to those with ITP and their families. Run primarily by volunteers with just one paid part-time worker it publishes a quarterly newsletter, provides numerous ITP publications, organises annual patient conventions, seminars for health professionals and funds research into the causes and best management of this frightening disease.
