REPORT OF THE DIRECTORS
The directors present their report and the financial statements for the period

The Company was incorporated on 13th March 1997. It is a company limited

memorandum and articles of association. The company exists to advance
drama. There have been no changes in the policies during the year.

and have therefore decided that as the ￿m0Ver is below the £250.1￿X? tlyeshold, to
take the optiop. to dispense with an independent examination of the charity's
accounts.
REVIEW OF ACTIVITIES
During the period of the report the Company planned to tour to 42 outdoor
venues during the summer and one venue, Eastboume, to perfomi in a circus
tent for a week, a project now well established as an ending to the tour. This
was 49 performances altogether, including two in Lewes and six in
Eastboume, all of which took place. afthough on three occasions rain forced
us inside to village halls. The ￿aY was a new version of The Dressing Book,,
which went out initially in 2012. It was so successful at the time it was felt it
deseNed another run, which indeed was extremely appreciated. We receNed
grants during the period from Langton Green Society. The Chalk Cliff Trust
and the Charities Aid Foundation, for which we are extremely grateful.
Extraordinarily, too, our supporters raised over £20,500 in order for us to buy
another van, our old having finally gNen up after many years. We are
extremely grateful to them for this, which is a marK not only of their
generosty, but that they care so much about our work. for which we must be
proud. We also receNed from them over £1.800 in donations. Overall it was
an excellent year in every way. making a very substantial profrt. It also marked
the end of an era in that our founder and artistic director. Pete Talbot. stood
down after running the Company for 27 years and it was taken over by Rowan
Talbot as our new artistic director. We have absolute confidence that this
marks the beginning of another great period of success and we wish Rowan
well. No directors resigned during the year. Pete Talbot was appointed as a
director but also retains his role as secretsry.
