**Objects:** (A) THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY THE PROVISION OF ADVICE AND INFORMATION ON THE CAUSES AND EFFECTS OF WAR AND VIOLENCE AND THEIR PEACEFUL RESOLUTION; (B) THE CONDUCT OF RESEARCH INTO THE CAUSES AND EFFECTS OF WAR AND VIOLENCE IN SOCIETY AND INTO THE HISTORY OF PEACEMAKING, AND PUBLICATION OF THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.
