Summary of the purposes of
the charity as set out in its

To advance the Islamic teachings in accordance with the
principles of the Shia Itna-Asheri and advance education
in Islam.
To provide, educate and assist community members
with their leisure, Social activities and employment skills
so as to develop their physical mental and spiritual
capabilities in order that they may develop as
individuals for the betterment of community and public
at large.

This financial year we continued to deliver events.
session5 and majalis to the commun ity in terms of
providing both secular and religious programmes.
Over the years the Charity has been dependent for
funding on monthly subsc.riptions and small regular
donations from community members wh ich to date has
allowed us to meet our annual expenditure.
These projects have continued to be funded by
additional private donations to cover the cost of
providing these services. We continued to provide food
bank seniices to local community covering Norbury,
Croydon and other part of South London. working
closely with Council and other charities and
organisations. The management continues to look for a
new propertylpremises for the charity, so that it can
continue to serve the Ioc31 community.

development in the light of preaching from Quran and
masumeen.
2. Develop. empower and enrich new and existing English
Speakers in the community by providing them with a
platform.
3. Provide an environment that educates, informs and
inspires the learning. reading and recitation of the Holy
Quran.
4. Create a friendly and interactive en'rfironment of
integration for Non-muslims and reverts.
5. Instill awareness of Islamic history and sites incl ud ing
Ziyarats. Haji, Umrah and Educatiori al site visits.
6. Campaign for charitable causes and promote the true
spirit of Islam.
7. Organise and work in partnership with other
organisations to ensure alignment and unity on teachings
of Maasumeen.
Provide support to enhance the empowerment of Shia
Women.
9. Promote and work with the community to raise
awareness and spread the message of Imam Hussain
{a.s).
10. Provide academic and social activitles to the community
throughout the year.
11. Cater for other social and religious events for the local
shia community

The charity completed a number of Community based
projects targeting and serving the ne'eds of the youth
especially including the provision of ¥Jducational,
religious. social and leisure services. examples include
after school youth interactive sessioiis, religious
awareness sessions. Quran Tafseer session s and
mentoring programmes.
This financial year we continued to provide educational
services to the community in terms of successfully
providing both secular and religious programmes.

The charity continued to help the community to stay in
touch during the pandemic and delivered a number of
online sessions to promote the message of The
Household of Prophet and to support the community
wellbeing.
Our food bank continued to provide support to
vulnerable and rough sleeping people in South London
through the provision of a weekly soup kitcheyy . It has
served more than 50,000 meals to people in and at risk
of homelessness, working closely with Croydon Council's
Housing and Rough Sleepers Team. Prison's and Hospital
Emergency Discharge Teams. We coritinue to also work
closely with Fareshare {superrnarkets like Tesco.
Waitrose etc), CVA. other Charities {iiic Sutton
Nightwatch, Shelter and SPEAR) and local Organisations.
Over the years the Chariti{ has been dependent for

Company for the year ended 3110312024.

basis of report
As the charity's trustees of the Company (who are also the directors of the
company for the purposes of company lawl, you are responsible for the
preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the
Companies Act 2006 ("the 2006 Act" i.
Having satisfied myself that the accounts of the c.ompany are not required
to be audited for this year under Part 16 of Ihe 2006 Act and are eligible for
independent examination. I report in respect of ry examination of your
charity s accounts as carried out under section 145 of the Charities Act 2011
("the 2011 Act.). In carrying out my e.xsmination, I have followed the
Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 14515>(b) of the
