**Objects:** TO RELIEVE POOR, SICK, ELDERLY OR DISABLED PERSONS IN CALNE AND THE SIX SURROUNDING PARISH COUNCIL AREAS OF BREMHILL, CALNE WITHOUT, CHERHILL, COMPTON BASSETT, HEDDINGTON AND HILMARTON BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION  OF SERVICES CALCULATED TO REDUCE THE NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS OF SUCH PERSONS

**Activities:** The Calne Link Scheme is a totally voluntary organisation that provides help in the form of care and transport for those in the local community who need it. People who through age or infirmity are unable to access hospitals, doctors surgeries or shops by their own means or by public transport are driven by the link scheme which also carries out shopping and provides companionship.
