The charity is conslitule(I by the Charity Commission and is a registered charity with the charity number
1063830. The charity became a registered charity on 7 August 1997. The chanty Is govemed by its declaration of
trust. which was adopted on 31 March 1994.
Obl•ctlve8 and Activitles
Donin9lon Village Hall is a village communty eentre. with a bar and kitchen facility, available fo hire, general
fvnclions elc and also providing a sports hall gym type facility lor the Inhabitants of the parish of Doninglon,
Spalding in the county ol Lincolnshire.
TTU¥tees
The trustees who serveé the charity during the period were as detsiled on Page 1.
New ITuslees are recruited from a group who have shown a keen interest in the work of the charity and have
abilities required on the gov8ming body. Training is provided lo keep trustees up to dale with new legtslation etc.
on a ￿gUlar basis.

The results for the charty for the tinancial year are detailed on pages 4 to 5.

The Iruslees have given due regard to the guidance published by the Charty Commission on public benefit, with
the charily's obieclives of the prOvis￿n and maintenance of the Donington Village Hall on behalf of Ihe
inhabilanls of Oonington being beneficial lo the communty as a who￿.

The trustees have a duty lo idenlfy and review the risks to which the Charity is exposed and to ensure
appropriate controls are in place to provide reasonable assurance against fraud and effor.
The principal risk lowafds the Charity is a lack of funding and Income lo support rfs stated aims. The trustees
have Considered this risk and believe that with careful management Ihey will be able to contsnue lo fulfft'l the
objectives of the Charity
Resuft8 l Futuro Plans
Both lettings incorne and related function bar takings have maintained a strong perf0m￿nCe in 2024125 and
continue lo significanlty exceed pre-covid leve15. The trustees continuo to maintain the property lo a sufficiènt
standard in order to secure the future useability of the facility.

The Trustees regularly review the amount of reserves that are required to ensure that they are adequate to fulfill
the Gharity's conlinuing ob1￿8￿"0ns. The carrEd forn¥ard unreslricled cash reserves as at 30th April 2025 are
£34,782.
