nded plbt programme was run bo1￿0&n De¢*mber 2022 and May 2023 and then provided with
ongoing fundlng to date. HomgS8fe SOS Is the service dellvered in South6nd, a partnership projec*
ty: South•nd Assoclallon of Voluntary Servlces (SAVS), South Essax Advocacy servi￿ (S&4S) and

Foodbank Vouch•r•: SAVS Ss a rgferral pather for Southend Foodbank, a network of foodbanks
a￿99 Southend fvnded by the Trus8ell Trusl. We provide a fr80 referral so￿11￿, either iTh-porson or
over the phone to help vulnerable South8nd rosidonts accegs food support. This yoar we made 2551
referrals lo Southend Foodbank.

promoung volunteering offers and opportunities across SoLrthend. Charities and group list thelr

year wrth 138 organisations registered to the Hub shartng over 200 opportunrties.
Southend centr￿ for Warnth: South8nd Centres for Warn)th is an innovative collaborative project
led by SAVS and being delivered by 11 VCFSE sector partnars In Southend for Cadent, tho nallonal
gas infrastruclure company. A first of rts kind for the business, ihe modet utilises a one-trpmany
approad) to engage and rea(* residents in Soulh6nd with activilies that., promote energy
safeguardlng and raise awareness of Carbon Monoxide (CO) safety issues, provide support to
VLlnerable groups within the ry>mmunlty (i.e. debt. mental heatth. low- ino)me, marginalised group8
etc.) and create a posKive social retum. Launched in January 2024. the project has a targeted 2-year
reach of 11.640 resldents In Southend wllh a predi￿ed &year social retum on investment for Cadant
of over c. £7 million.

the progrnmme, wrth our contracted rolo prlmarlty fwjsslng on parenl engagement and ¢X
production. Our work irKaudes empcwerin9 local par8nts through our Parent ChamplonslAmbassador
prograrnmes and supporting them to become the volts of parents and participate In th8 various
govemance meetings ofABSS.

HAF: The HolKJay Advity and Food Programme (HAF)18 a fr88 and excitlng holiday programme for
chlldran and young p8op18 aged 5 to 18 who get benefits related free s(*ool m6al8. The programme
rnns ov8r the Easter (1 V￿8k), summar (4 weaks) and Chrfstmas (1 week) school holldays and 1$
funded by the Department for Education (DfE). SAVS Is a leading partnei of the HAF programme in
Southend. Th1$ yoar wo supported 52 young people with 22 sesstons that enabled them to a¢¢ess
free healthy end nutribous meals, as well as learnlng aboui food and nutsitlon, take part in heatthy
lovd of physrcal actlwty. Above all. the young people h8V8 fun and maot now frfend8. feel safe and

the amount of the obligation can be measured ieliabty. Exwditure is accounted for on an auJuals basis and
has been dasstfkd under headings that aggregate all cost related to the category. ￿ere ￿sts cannot bè

Expenses are allocated per project on a controlled and calculated basls depending on woth load and fundlng
