Summary of the purposes of Para 1.17 Our overarching aim is to support families and
the charity as set out in its veterans of the 7th Armoured Division, plus 4th
governing document and 7th Armoured Brigades (and their
descendants) and to ensure their history is not
a thing of the past and to educate future
generations on the legacy of the British 7th
Armoured Division, who fought in the North
African Campaign and later Italy and North-
West Europe during the 1940s conflict and
conflicts ever since.
This year we have fulfilled our goal of raising a
permanent Memorial for all Desert Rats (7th
Armoured Division, 4th and 7th Armoured
Brigades, and their descendants), past, present
or future at the National Memorial Arboretum,
Staffordshire, which has been the focus of our
fund-raising effort for this year. ,

Financial Review

Review of the charity’s Para 1.21 Having raised a total income of £29,910, with
financial position at the end an expenditure of £67,000, the charity has
of the period spent £37,0892 more than it raised. It carried
over £49,054 from the previous year, which
has enabled it to make this expenditure.
After meeting its commitment’s, the remaining
funds will be carried over for spend in
2023/2024, as per Para 1.22, for future
additions to the National Memorial Arboretum
project and at the High Ash Memorial, Norfolk.
Statement explaining the Para 1.22 Reserves are held over per annum, to provide
policy for holding reserves funds for future additions to the National
