IF Objectives and Activittes Our objeaive is to honour our IA)rd in our service of HI￿ alld to glorify Him alone. 11 The Sunday morning service is a time when we gather together around the preaching ofthe Wor(L and express our praise and worship to the Lord in song and prayer. On Wednesday evening we meet around God's Word for study and prayer. 111 11 We have words to the songs and hY[[ll￿ displayed a large screen in the ChapeL and they are led by our orgallist or by our guitar group, wbo practice on a Wednesday evening before Bil)le Stt]dy. Achievements and Perf0rn￿lCe We are a chapel in Mid-wales with a membership of15. We love the Lord Jesus ChrisL and long for people to see the 11 11 good news of His gospel in what we say and w}￿t we do. Since employing a full-time Milli￿ in 2021 Olev. Simoll Facer) we have engaged in seV￿al outreach ideas: activities specifically aitlled at engaging the local conununity. These have included things like BBQ'S. meals, quizzes, open-mic nights, walks, & bonfires. Once a month we take a service in a local Rhayader care home, called Bryngwy. This is for those who are now unable to attend services because of health. It is a hymn service with prayer, Bil)le readin& alld a short message; and is very 11 well receive(L We have taken opportufllties to help our local community, and the wider worll by tsking up collections for the food 11 bank and the Ukraine crisis and the local Ciw primary school. Every year we have a joint chape]s Carol seThice at Pant y Dwr lulL this is done with Bwlch y Sarnau Baptist Church and Sycl]nant Presbyterian ChurdL It is usually very well attende This year we coordinated with Bethel Baptist in Rhayader. and Bwlch Y Sarnau Baptist to host a tent mission together - 11 11 a children's club in the mornings and an adult service in the evenings. This was very encouragin& and is something we hope to continue doing in the future. Pastoral care is provided to the Community as the needs arise and there is ￿WayS a warni welcome to any services. A cuppa and a chat after the morning seryice is a time to share fellowship and get to know any newcomers. 11 11 Financial review Our audited accounts are attacheLL We greatly benefit from two properties which we rent OUL They 11 11 are both older buildings and require maintenance. The main Chapel building is in general good 11 It repair. We have almost completed renewing the kitchen area to facllitste more Fellowship meals, e.g. 11 our post chris￿ meal. 11 Reserves Policy A reserve account C.O.I.F charity account if held for work and repairs on the main chapel building 11 only. Regular payments into this account will be fixed at our next Deacons Meeting. Volunteers We would ]￿e to all our vohmteers who work hard to keep our Chapel clean and in good order.
