These were reviewed and updated in 2024 and will be updated again
when necessary.
There are named leaders for all the main activities and they are
responsible for carrying out risk assessments relating to their respective
activities.
A Safeguarding training event was carried out in March 2019 led by Thirty-
One Eight, previously known as CCPAS
Several members of the Church have had First Aid Training carried out by
St John’s Ambulance Service

Objectives

Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document

The church is committed to reaching out into the whole community within realistic geographical reach of the building. We seek to share the Good News of the Gospel i.e. that salvation is found through faith in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ upon the Cross of Calvary.

Activities

There are several activities, which reflect our commitment to the community: -

NREC will use any reserves for the purposes of fulfilling the aims and Brief statement of the objectives of the Church. Reserves may also be used to help Christian charity’s policy on reserves Organisations at home and overseas (described in the expenditure as tithe)

The principal source of funds is the membership and friends of the church.

Expenditure has supported the key objectives in paying a salary to a fulltime minister as well as covering all costs relating to the activities of the church and in 2024 providing additional support to a minister assisting another church in Tyneside.
