The purpose of the trust is to providefor the refvrbishment of St George's Church West Grln5tead and
the maintenance of the fabric of the bulldin8 and the refurbishment and maintenance of all
monuments whether inside or outside the building.

The Trustees are responslble for keeplng proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable
accuracy at any time the financial posltlon.
The Trustees have a general responsibility to take reasonable steps to safeguard the assets of the
Charity and to preventand detect fraud and other irregularitles.

I report to the charity Trustees on my examinatlon of the accounts of the Charrty for the year ended
31st March 2025 which are set out on page 4.
Responslbllllles and bads of report
As the Charity's Trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with
the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 {"the kt").
I report in respert of my examination of the Charity's accounts carried out under section 145 of the
Act and in carrylng out my examination I have followed all the applicable directions given by the
Charltles Commission under section 145151 Ib) of the Act.
Independent examlner's Statement
I have completed my examinatlon. I conflrm that no materlal matters have come to my attentlon in
connectlon wlth the examlnation 8lving me cause to belleve that In any materlal respect:
l. accounting records were not kept in respe￿ of the charity as required by section 130 of the
2. the accounts do not accord with those records.
3. the accounts do not comply with the applicable requlrements concerning the form and
content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulatlons 2008 other
than any requirement that the accounts give a 'true and fair vieW which is not a matter
considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no matters in connection with the examination to which
attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understsndlng of the accounts to
be reached.
