Para 1.20 | April 2021 – March 2022 Trust of London Workshops in 2021 DEWA ran 22 workshops and 3 online debates in 2021 Forced Marriage Virtual Talk by FM Unit, FGM, Live Coach, Feedback & Discussion session, Youth Day, Employability Skills, Career in the Arts, Counselling, Open Panel & Q/A, Autism Awareness, Abuse, Employability Skills refresher, Menopause, ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Discorder), Healthy Eating, Xmas Women social, Food & Ethnicity, Autism Awareness refresher, Menopause refresher, How COVID is affecting Women's life, BSL Act, PIP, DEWA International of Women’s Day & Female Genital Mutilation workshop. Drop-in 2021 233 attendees Weekly Drop-in Service: general support with advice; clarify information, translate, explain using British Sign language, benefits, fill in forms. Every case is being followed up. Contact with social workers and with other deaf organisations is regularly made. Financial Workshops in 2021 Our financial workshops were funded by Smallwood Trust. Funderbirds & Women Thrive and was delivered by our freelance trainer Shivani. One to one support alongside workshops will be on offer for additional from suitable skilled and experienced staff. Deaf Ethnic Women can receive tailored individual support with any issues by participation and enable women to plan to take positive steps in their lives and be signposted and linked to wider support network. |

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the Deaf Ethnic Women's Association (“the Charity”) for the year ended 31[st] March 2022.
- Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Charity, you are responsible for the preparation basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Charity’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have examiner's statement come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
