**Activities:** Opieka's  co-ordinators and volunteers befriend and support the elderly of Polish origin or their spouses in their own homes, in residential care and nursing homes accompanying them on visits to specialists and doctors, frequently assisting with translations and form filling. The charity operates in the Derby City and surrounding area
