**Objects:** TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE AREA OF NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE AND ITS NEIGHBOURHOOD, IN TRADITIONAL SCOTTISH COUNTRY DANCING IN PARTICULAR BY1) PRESERVING AND FURTHERING THE PRACTICE OF TRADITIONAL SCOTTISH COUNTRY DANCES2) PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN PROVIDING INSTRUCTION IN THE DANCING OF SCOTTISH COUNTRY DANCES3) PROMOTING THE ENJOYMENT AND APPRECIATION OF SCOTTISH COUNTRY DANCING AND MUSIC BY ANY SUITABLE MEANS

**Activities:** Classes, both teaching and social, throughout the area for all ages and abilities. Competative festival annually. Demonstration team available. Many social functions. Teachers available for schools, clubs & societies who would like taster sessions or classes.
