Achievements and Performance

SORP reference
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20 We remain an OFSTED Outstanding
setting and continue to proud of our
commitment to outdoor education and
promoting the benefits of outdoor play in all
weathers.
We continue to uphold the principles of the
Hampshire Healthy Early Years
accreditation which we achieved
previously. We continue to be part of the
ongoing 'Saving Smiles' program which
promotes good oral health.
We are constantly striving to provide the
very best start for our children and their
families. We help parents who may be
struggling to access services by offering
support and encouragement. When our
children leave us for 'big' school as
confident young learners ready to take on
the next big challenge in their lives we feel
we have made a positive contribution to
their future prospects.
We have set up a 'share shed' where we
offer surplus food, spare clothes and a
book exchange to our preschool
community. A lending library allows
children to access a good range of books
which enables those who may not have
books at home to have more equal
opportunities to those who do.
