Activities

The East European Jewish Heritage Project provides overseas aid to Belarus in terms of education and training, medical assistance, community development and conservation and promotes cultural awareness. It assists the young, the old and people with disabilites and special needs.

Objects: (1) To Advance The Education Of Members Of The Public In The Subject Of Ashkenazic Jewish Civilization In Eastern Europe "The Civilization" By The Discovery,documentation And Preservation Of The Civilization's Culture In Particular But Not Exclusively, Its Language, Folklore, Oral History, Literary Culture And Architectural Remains And In Furtherance Thereof To Develop, Implement And Supervise Academic Research Based On The Material Collected And To Disseminate The Useful Results Of Such Research; (2) The Relief Of Poverty Of Jewish People ,In Eastern Europe; (3) To Advance The Education Of Jewish People In Eastern Europe In Their Linguistic, Cultural And Literary Heritage Thereby By Perpetuating The East European Yiddish Heritage; (4) To Advance The Education Of The Public By Documenting The Holocaust And Its Ongoing After-Effects.
