waves of the pandemK, Ihe team continued lo make sure the inbnnation we were providing was aituned lo the
needs of children. farThlies and professh￿41¥ wogressNdy increased the range of free reswrces and
training availab￿ through the website.

Summer, and from September 2020 we had nlroduced a new service. the Family Bereavement Support Serv

people- a year•on*year deuease of 18%. We feel confident that this nu￿eT V*ill boun￿ toc* for 2021-2022. as
call r81es retumed lo pre-pandemic levels frtffi September2020.

3,533 requesls for help through both Se￿[ce8 (2019-20". 3,2591- a small inwse on the comparable figure tast

Secure a $u8tainable futur•
In March 2020, as the CovKI-19 pandemic rew#￿1 Ihe UK with eamest, it was clear thatwe needed to revise our
previously budgeted In￿rne of £2.5m for the 202￿2021 year duMI as a response. This rev15ion was reached
with al available dats however. predicling how indivN1uals. grant making tojies and companies woukj be
affected by a global pandemtc that was, al the lime. seen as likety to be relatively short hved, is ¢Jefinitely nwe of
an art than a scien￿. With no smikiy Scena￿ to base our p￿d￿tIonS on in living memory, we made sensible
decision& We revksed our ryedicted income down to £1.6m and made plans to reduce ourc£Jsl base swfftty.
We finished the year having SecU￿d vder £1.8m from tjur donors and SUPFhYters. We managed to keep a tight
rein on costs thro￿hCYj1 the year, gNing 8 resultant increase in our unrestricted rese￿e$ of£210.391 in Ihe year,
ofwhlc* £91.218 was gains IiNe*tt￿ts.
We have sought advice arKI feel that the ¢wrrent unprediclat4e and changeable markets. rt ts sensible lo

Accounts that they held. The sofntors had made Ihe assessment that the on these accounts
would never bo daimed and so. Imth the pr￿r approval of the Solicitors Regulalion AUth￿lty, they paid

The Chafity operates a defined contri￿tiOn pension scheme. The assets of the schame are held
