The Committee presents its Report and Financial Statements for the year ended 31 December 2024.
Objectives, Organisation, and Activities
The Serbian Orthodox Church of Holy Trinity, Brcidford w(Is constituted by a Trust Deed dated the
21" December 1993 and is a registered Charity numbered 106103 8.
The Charity operates from its offices at 98 Littlc Horton Lane, Bradford, BD5 OJG.
The objectives of the Charity are:
a) To use 'l'rust Property in accordance with the provisions of thc constitution of the Serbian
Church
b) To advance Ihe education of the local congregation or other congregatiuns of the Serbi¢
Orthodnx Church in En&Fland permanently residing in and being cili7ens of the United
Kingdom.

Review of Financial Activities and Affairs
Full details of the financial transactions are contained in the attached accounts. The total receipts
for the year were £70,300 (2023: £66,093) and after deducting payments of £54,090 (2023..
£52,780), the net income was £16,210 (2023: net income £13,313).
The total reserves of the Church are £106,492 (2023: £90,282).

The Church Committcc acting as Charity Trustees are responsible for prcparing the Tnistees. Rep)rt
and the Financial Statements in accordance with applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting
Standards (United ￿'AgdoM Generally Accepted Accounting Practice).
The law applicable to Charities in England and Wales requires Charity Trustees to prepare Financial
Statements for cach financial ycar which give a trust and fair view of thc statc of affairs of the
Charity and of the incoming resources and application of resources of the Charity for that period. In
prq)aring these Financial Statements, the Charity Trustccs are rcquircd to:
a) Select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently.
b) Observe the rnethods and principles in the Charities SORP.
c) Make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudcnt.
d) State whether applicable accounting standards have been followed, subject to any material
departures disclosed and cxplaincd in the Financial Statements.
e) Prepar¢ the Financial Staternents on a going concern basis unlcss it is inappropriate to assume
that the Charity will continue in operation.
The Trustees are re8pon8ible for kccping accounting records that disclose with reasonable accuracy
at any time the financial p081tion of the Charity and to enable them to ensure that the FinancAal
Statements Lomply with the Charities Act 201 l and thc Trust Deed. They are also responsible for
safeguarding the assets of the Charity and hence for taking reasonable stcps for the prevention and
detection of fraud or other irregularities.

I rq)ort to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of The Serbian Orthodox Church of Holy
Trinity, Bradford for the year ended 31 December 2024.
Responsibilities and basi5 of thc rcport.
As the charity trustees, you are responsible for the Preparation of the accounts in accordance with
the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act,).
I report in respect of my examination of thc Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the
2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by
the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examlner's statement
I have completed my cxamination. I confirn] that no material matters have come to my attention in
connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:
. accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the
2. the accounts do not accord with those records.
I have no concerns and have corne across no other Matters in connection with the examination to
which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the
accounts to be reached.
